Parents (who know their children best!) should assess the situation individually. We will be walking through small alleys and uneven streets, so please consider this as wheelchair and strollers may not be suitable. Since there is a lot of standing and walking, please consider this when deciding whether the tour is appropriate for your child. Your guide will tell you about the city, its history, monuments, and food ingredients. During your experience you will learn loads about local culinary history, the current food scene, typical plates, and ingredients.[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_tta_section][vc_tta_section title=”How much walking is involved? Is it a fast-paced tour?” tab_id=”walking-involved”][vc_column_text]Tours generally last between 2 to 4 hours depending on the tour route, and participants can expect to be standing or walking for a majority of the time. Since everyone is on vacation, we believe in taking it easy and enjoying your time in a new environment. While there is more walking on our 4 hour tours, everyone\u2019s health condition is different at various ages. However, due to Taipei\u2019s sweltering summers, we offer seasonal experiences. It does rain quite often in Taipei, so please prepare necessary clothing and\/or equipment you might need to stay dry. Don\u2019t worry, the food taste the same!\u00a0 If the Taiwan government issues an official alert shutting down businesses or we deem conditions unsafe for our guests, tours will be cancelled. The Food<\/h3>\n

All of our tours have tastings quite early on into the tour! <\/span>[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_tta_section][vc_tta_section title=”What if I have dietary restrictions or allergies?” tab_id=”1519308610040-ac25c865-6ccd”][vc_column_text]For our XinYi tour, we can provide substitutions for vegetarian and gluten aversions; however on our Dihua and Yansan tour, we are unable to provide vegetarian substitutes.
